So the kids are growing so fast. Little Roger is 3 months old now and Madison will be 3 on the 6th, time seems like it is flying by. She is turning into such a big girl, potty training is going great and she is using her manners with almost no help from us now. It's funny to me some times to see just how much she actually does listen to us and understands. The baby is so sweet always smiling and laughing now he totally makes my day.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Police Exam
So Roger is taking the exam this morning he called about half hour ago he passed the written part with an A. He is on his way to the physical exam and we should find out some time today he says they are looking for 15 people. I am so excited for him.
I started a job this past week at The Children's Place, so far I have only worked one day and only work one day this next week. Hopefully I will get more hours soon though
ex specially with Thanksgiving weekend coming up. I enjoyed working there the first day so it can only get better from there, plus the discount is awesome. I love there clothes for the kiddos.
Madison is potty training still she is doing better and better every day, I am so proud of her. She keeps asking us if it's her birthday yet. When we ask what she wants for her birthday she actually gives us a list now, it's kinda funny. " I want a horse, clothes, barbies, and the Dora doll that dances on her toes!" If only she knew where money came from and could understand that she is not getting all of this.
Little Roger is getting so big so fast. He is smiling all the time, he can laugh now it's adorable and he is trying to roll over already. I was thinking that next month he'll be 4 months old at Christmas he gets to eat real food, okay so rice cereal. I can't wait to see the faces he will make.
The other day when I was feeding the baby Madi asked if she could play with my Bobos
( boobies)I told her NO but you can play with your own. "But mine don't have any milk, mom" I still can't believe that came out of her mouth. She is so stinkin smart. She wants to go to school this next year too... I don't know if I am ready for that or not.

Catching up
So my loving husband brought to my attention that I have not updated the blog in a few weeks and I need to get busy. Needless to say the past 3 weeks have been a little hectic for me. Adjusting to a new little one in the house plus the fact that we are moving this week, I feel like we have no time for anything.
Little Roger is doing great his cord finally fell off today, it looks like he will have an outie. I was so excited to dress him for church today he wore his first little church outfit with a vest, super cute. Last Sunday we had him blessed, it was a awesome day.
Grammy and Papa were here last week we had a great visit with them, only wish they could have been here longer. Madison keeps asking where her Grammy and Papa are and when do we get to go on an airplane? She really didn't enjoy having to sleep in her room again when they left, she thinks we are evil!
Madison has been doing some really cute and funny things lately.
Heather & Nate came to visit last week also we went out and ate at Texas Roadhouse. Long story short Madi came up missing, we were all going crazy looking for her. She is no where to be found. Our worst nightmare, when all of a sudden we look over to the bar area and there she is but naked diaper in her hands skirt down around her ankles! She said 'Daddy I just had to go potty." Needless to say we were freaking out I thought she was with Roger he thought she was with me. Good thing he works there and everyone knows who she is, right. This could have been so horrible.... potty training at it's finest though. She didn't tell either of us anything she just took herself to the bathroom like she would do here at home.
Today was also the first day she took the sacrament. She reached in and grabbed the bread before we could stop her. So we started explaining in as much detail as we could the importance of the sacrament and what it means. I'm not sure if she fully understands what it all really means but at least we tried to tell her.
We still haven't gotten the pictures uploaded on the computer but I promise we have been taking some great ones.

So, Yeah we have a BOY!
Well, im sorry that I didnt update this blof after the birth, I was a little busy. Alyssa's sister Jessica was updating Facebook just after. Well, we are home now it was fun and real and we are glad its over. So here are some pics that we have taken of the boy. Madison is calling him "bubba" but she cant pronounce it quite right so she says "Buboo", almost like bobo the clown but with the "bub" part at the beginning, its really quite. Anyway for those on our emailing list you will get more pics than these soon. I hope everybody is doing good and enjoys the pics, if you dont get pics (give it a day or two) then call, email, or comment in the blog section and we will make it happen. Enjoy!

Getting Closer!!!!!
OK the nurse checked alyssa and she said she is a 9.75/10. The baby is at "Zero Station" and we are getting ready to have this baby. I found it wierd to think that I will have two kids soon. Honestly im already getting emotional....im a big baby, i know. Anyway, other nurses are on in the room getting the room ready.....so pretty quick. The main nurse said she would check alyssa in a about 15 minutes or so. More to follow.......
Getting Closer
The Nurse just checked her and said she was dialated to a 5-6 and the baby was -1. She needs to be dialated to a 10 and the baby at 3. So we will see. Its progressed really fast, predictions are that she will have the baby by 3 PM Central......more later.
Relief!!
Ok, so the ephideral is in. Maka and I had to leave while they hooked her up. SO maka and i went to the hospital cafeteria and believe it or not the food is actually pretty darn good, breakfast was amazing. Ok, so alyssa is feelin REALLY good if you know what i mean and the contractions are comin but bearable. More to follow later.......
Broke the water
So how do you break water you ask? well, with a long plastic hook. Interesting to say the least. Ok, so the water is broke at 12:05 and the contractions are coming pretty strong. She sat throiugh about 5-10 minutes of contractions and asked for the epiderhal. So thats on its way. Also i was taking pictures and videotapping her during contractions and she had some choice words for me.......hehehe. She dosent like it now but she will later. I will post more later.
Finnaly The Secret Password Worked!!
Ok, so this is Roger. We are at the hospital, alyssa is hooked up and the contractions are coming pretty good. The doc will be here at noon to break her water. Then there will be no stopping it! I will keep everybody posted through Facebook and this blog.

Cleaning up
This is one of her other favorite things, to dance. She will dance to anything and wants you to dance with her. We have checked out some local dance studios but we are going to wait until she is a little bit older.
She likes to play pretend a lot now, she has a great imagination. We try to encourage her as much as we can. She loves it when we play along with her. This is her pretending she is Roger.
Doing a deep cleaning of the tub, she wanted to help Daddy so bad. What a good sport he is, this really made her day. Lately she has been a real Mommy's girl but today for a change all she wanted has been Daddy! So cute.
Anyway tonight we have been cleaning like crazy, trying to make sure we have everything ready for our new little one. Hopefully we will be induced in the morning. My doctor says they should not send us away again, he says there is always that chance but he doesn't see that happening.I found out today that the hospital has had like 80 births the last 2 weeks alone. We will keep everyone posted on what is happening.

Sent HOME
So we got to the hospital this morning at 4:30 am. They sent us home they said they were out of beds! Roger and I were so upset they rescheduled us for Monday at 8 am so hopefully they will keep us then. Or who knows maybe we'll go into labor on our own, I've been in light labor for a while now I just wish things would speed up. I do have a Doctors appointment in the morning so we'll have to see what he says.

Change of date
The doctors office called today and they had to change our induction date to Thursday the 20th. The only draw back is we have to be there at 4:30am so that part stinks but hey at least were getting him out for sure that day.

Baby News
Went to the doctor today I am dilated to a three and 70% effaced so now we are just playing the waiting game. He doubts that we will make it another week but if we due he will induce us on Wednesday the 19Th. I am so excited I can not wait to get this little boy out of me. I am ready to see and hold him already. So far Roger and Madison think he will have dark hair and blue eyes. I am not sure I kind of think he will look just like them blond hair blue eyes and nothing like me. I told Roger that if that does happen I'll just have to start dying my hair so I can actually fit in as part the family. So we shall see I am just really ready to get this baby out of my ribs so I can breathe better again.

Fried Chicken =)
So my beautiful daughter loves fried chicken so much that she had to sneak into the kitchen for another piece! I had never made it for her before but will definately have to do it again and real soon. She even came and stole a piece off of my plate, what a cutie!
On another note she asked to play in the soap bubbles, no problem right. I turn around and she is washing the dishes! That's my girl.

House News
So we had a couple come look at the house today, they are really nice. He is in the army getting deployed for a year and she wants to be in WF around her family while he's gone. Best part is they don't need the house until October!!!! So no rushing around with our heads cut off anymore. They brought back there application and Rog and I will decide for sure or not tonight when he gets home, but I am pretty sure they are the ones. Just one of those comforting feelings. =)
On to other news my feet are swelling like crazy and Rog says my belly has dropped some or at least looks different. It doesn't feel any different to me but that is still some nice news to hear. I think these past few weeks have been the longest ever, I am so anxious to see our little boy and to let some one else get to hold him for a while. Sounds awful but I am tired of being kicked in the ribs already.

Baby News & Updates
Went to the doctor today were a 2 1/2 to a 3 and still 50% effaced, he says we could stay like this for weeks.=( Next week he said we could talk about being induced. I have still been having braxton hicks/ contractions for days but there not getting any where near constant or regular. I am just ready for this boy to come already.
We also had several people come and look at the house yesterday, they all said they loved it and took applications with them. We haven't gotten any back yet but we shall see what happens. We will be out of the house by the 1st of September so who ever we choose can move in then.
Madison is now in love with Barbie! We got a her a Barbie movie the other day, and I think we have watched it every single day. At least that's how it feels. She is so funny when she watches it,she sings the songs and dances.... so cute!
Ohhh.... her favorite song right now is Old McDonald had a farm, she loves making the animal noises. She's also talking non-stop now, for the most part you can understand her now too, a total plus.

Life
So we found out that Roger is quite possibly going to loose his job on August 1st. His boss is trying to figure a way to keep him but so far we don't really know whats going to happen. So in all reality he could show up to work on Monday and that could be his last day. Pretty crappy, huh. So we decided to put our house up for rent the sign has only been up for almost 48 hours and we have already had 3 phone calls about it. I thought it would take alot longer to even hear from anyone. We are working on De-cluttering and packing a few things away. Why we waited this long to take care of thing I am not sure. But the house is looking amazing, it helps that I am also in my nesting stage of this pregnancy so I want everything done right now.
Poor Roger, we went to Walmart yesterday and I totally bit his head off, I didn't realize how mean I was until it was all said and done. We had gift cards to use and he forgot and swiped his debit card, I got really mad. I know super silly, we go to wal-mart all the time and could have used it another time. But all I could think was why didn't you wait on me you knew we had those grrr... good thing he loves me so much. I think that's maybe the second time we have ever had words with each other not bad for 3 1/2 years, right.
I went to the doctor last Wednesday he said he'd be surprised if by the 19Th I haven't either already had Lil Roger or dilated to a 3. I am a 1 right now and 50% effaced, at least as of Wednesday. I am having braxton hicks and contractions mixed but nothing any were near regular and ready for him to come yet. So

The begining of July-- 5 weeks to go!!!!
Friday I decided to go out and mow the lawn. I had to hurry Roger was on the computer in the middle of a live chat for school so I snuck out and started before he could stop me. He eventually came out and tried to take it, but I'm stubborn and wouldn't let him.
Madison's 2ND piece of cake thanks to her Popi, she was excited.
Happy Birthday to Daddy and Maka!!!! They had trick candles it was hilarious, all the kids helped them blow out the candles.

Happy Independence Day
So we started the morning off at church for the annual pancake breakfast and primary parade. Madi decorated one of her cars with the help of her Daddy and rode around the side walk about 6 times she was one tired and hot kiddo.
After church this morning we went to Maka's house and played for awhile, then off to Texas Roadhouse with Daddy and the other Tea Party volunteers. We ate lunch and had a good time, yummy steak!
Then I went to Walmart with Madi, she was way too tired and cranky. So not that much fun for either of us. I did actually have a list this time so we really didn't take to long.
Back home for a good nap and then off to the Howard Johnson Hotel for the Texas Tea Party in the Falls. We our family rented a room so we'd have somewhere to relax out of the heat. An awesome idea because we also got to go swimming they have a kid pool there that only goes to about 1 1/2 feet so perfect for all the little munchkins to swim in. The water was perfect to I totally enjoyed it. We spent the rest of the day there at the hotel in and out. There were a few bands their and speakers it was really fun. It started to rain towards the end so alot of people left, we just played in the rain Madi had fun doing that. I forgot I brought the camera until the end of the night though, sorry. Roger was helping threw the whole event so we saw very few glimpses of him. I think he had fun though, I know he's tired now and sunburned. Happy day before his birthday though , right. Madi really like the fireworks this year she kept belly laughing and clapping her hands was really cute.

FaMiLy DaY
So today we went to the temple in Dallas it was amazing as always. It's the first time we have been in a long time and the first time we have ever gone by ourselves. We got some much needed answers to some questions that have been on our hearts. We both got the same answer actually so it was pretty neat to have that happen, just further helps our testimonies. I was kinda bummed though my dress wouldn't fit over my fat belly but it'll be gone soon anyway right (7 1/2 more weeks to go). We got started down there on our trip and were kinda stressing out we didn't have anyone to watch Madi while we went threw a session together so we were going to take turns. On the drive we got a phone call from some friends that live in the Dallas area and they were willing to watch our girl. So it all totally worked out, she had a blast playing with there 2 boys and new baby and we got our much needed answers. What a wonderful day!
Did I mention I have the best most awesome husband in the world, because I totally do!!!

Rodeo
We went as a ward family to a rodeo in Archer City. Madi's first she loved seeing all the horses and cows. Her favorite Texas words are "yee-haw"!!!! So cute.
Also the water spraying episode was this past week. I came home from work and found the two of them outside spraying each other with the hose. I'm not sure who was having more fun.
1St Haircut!!!!!
On Saturday Madi and I were at the mall so I decided to go ahead and cut her hair!! And yes I asked Roger months ago if he would mind at all. She kept pushing her bangs out of her face and it was driving me crazy. She did an excellent job, she sat perfectly still. And gave the hair dresser a hug and kiss, she kept telling her thank you for cutting my hair. On the way to see her Daddy after words she was singing " I am so Happy, so happy, my hair so pretty!" Rog didn't even notice at first, I had to tell him. When he saw he did kinda give me a hard time, just being playful. He said he had just wanted to be there when we cut it. I had no idea he wanted to be there..... sorry Daddy!

Summer Cleaning
So on Saturday Rog was cleaning the garage with Madi, while I supervised from the sofa. I went to check on them and Madi was in the backyard playing. A few minutes later Rog stuck his head out in the backyard and saw our little princess stripped down to her pull up. Well that was actually half way off, standing in her kiddy pool! It was almost 8 p.m. we've had tons of rain and the mosquitos were out like crazy. Anyway she was extremely proud of herself. I wasn't fast enough getting a camera though, sorry. You'll just have to use your imagination.
Tonight though we did find two of our little friends we've been trying to catch. One in the garage and one in the crawl space. Rog thought it would be funny to show me the first one in the garage, YUCKY!!! Good thing I love him so much, Rog that is.
I went to the Dr. again today had to do the glucose testing today. He said eveything is going good. I measured at 31 weeks. He says from the last sonogram the due date would be around the 20th of August but he didn't want to change it from the 26th since it's the same week. So we'll just see as we get closer to that time. I think it's pretty cool to see now when he kicks my whole belly jumps around and moves. It's the neatest thing.

Summer Fun
So we bought a kids pool the other day, the girls absolutely love it and so do I. It's big enough for me to put my feet in. Madi is lost when the other kids aren't here for her to play with though. I can't wait for her bubba to be here and big enough for her to play with. I am 6 1/2 months along now not too much longer.

Memorial Day
So on Memorial day this is how Rog and I were awakened by our lil princess. She called this her make-up. Yes it's a black sharpie and she was so proud of herself. I never would have thought I would have to tell my daughter to sit still and let me finish washing the black off of her. Hilarious!!!! We got most of it off in the tub but she did have to wear some off also. Four days later and you can't even tell it happened. We did however move our junk drawer stuff so she can't help herself to it anymore.

Few pictures
Home Sweet Home
So we unexpectedly got to go to Utah for 1 week. We got home on Saturday and got to sleep in our own beds so happy!!! We spent the week with my in laws my Sparks Family. We had so much fun, it's the 2ND time Madi has ever been there to see everyone. We did miss you though Heather! The first time she got to see snow she absolutely loved it. She asked me who turned the water on? Questions these Lil one ask. We went to see all the sights, okay so basically we went to temple square 3 times, it was amazing. I have never been around so many Mormons all at one time, so cool. We didn't even know them we just knew we were in good company. We also went to deseret industries, deseret books, a water fountain, took the front runner and some buses into town, cold stone creamery, a surprise party for a man that Rog went sky diving with when he was 16, and drove all over the place, all this in addition to temple square and every building we could get into there. It was such a blast.
Hopefully we'll get to go back for Thanksgiving this year with our new baby, =).

So, I finally went to the doctor today. Were not as far along as I thought we were. I am 10 weeks and 5 days along, putting my due date at Wednesday August 26Th. He did a sonogram and everything so we got to see the baby and hear it's heart beat. It was so awesome! I can't wait until we get to see our new little baby.
We are still in the process of potty training Madison, tonight she thought it would be fun to play with her poop. Oh the joys of mother hood.

Good News
Well we found out a few weeks ago that were expecting baby #2! I'm so excited. The only downer is I swear I'm showing already at 11 weeks and I'm sick every single day already, this part stinks. I can't wait till all the sickness goes away, and hopefully with this pregnancy it will. I'm due at the end of July right at the hottest part of the season here in Texas, oh what fun this will be. Were hoping for a boy this time, okay so we really just want the Lil bugger to be healthy.
Madi is getting smarter every day. We are in the middle stages of potty training, some days it's good other's it's horrible. Take it all one day at at time though.
Rog has decided to go out for the police academy I'm thrilled for him, he's been wanting to do this for a while.
