Happy Independence Day

So we started the morning off at church for the annual pancake breakfast and primary parade. Madi decorated one of her cars with the help of her Daddy and rode around the side walk about 6 times she was one tired and hot kiddo.

After church this morning we went to Maka's house and played for awhile, then off to Texas Roadhouse with Daddy and the other Tea Party volunteers. We ate lunch and had a good time, yummy steak!

Then I went to Walmart with Madi, she was way too tired and cranky. So not that much fun for either of us. I did actually have a list this time so we really didn't take to long.

Back home for a good nap and then off to the Howard Johnson Hotel for the Texas Tea Party in the Falls. We our family rented a room so we'd have somewhere to relax out of the heat. An awesome idea because we also got to go swimming they have a kid pool there that only goes to about 1 1/2 feet so perfect for all the little munchkins to swim in. The water was perfect to I totally enjoyed it. We spent the rest of the day there at the hotel in and out. There were a few bands their and speakers it was really fun. It started to rain towards the end so alot of people left, we just played in the rain Madi had fun doing that. I forgot I brought the camera until the end of the night though, sorry. Roger was helping threw the whole event so we saw very few glimpses of him. I think he had fun though, I know he's tired now and sunburned. Happy day before his birthday though , right. Madi really like the fireworks this year she kept belly laughing and clapping her hands was really cute.

FaMiLy DaY

So today we went to the temple in Dallas it was amazing as always. It's the first time we have been in a long time and the first time we have ever gone by ourselves. We got some much needed answers to some questions that have been on our hearts. We both got the same answer actually so it was pretty neat to have that happen, just further helps our testimonies. I was kinda bummed though my dress wouldn't fit over my fat belly but it'll be gone soon anyway right (7 1/2 more weeks to go). We got started down there on our trip and were kinda stressing out we didn't have anyone to watch Madi while we went threw a session together so we were going to take turns. On the drive we got a phone call from some friends that live in the Dallas area and they were willing to watch our girl. So it all totally worked out, she had a blast playing with there 2 boys and new baby and we got our much needed answers. What a wonderful day!

Did I mention I have the best most awesome husband in the world, because I totally do!!!

Rodeo

We went as a ward family to a rodeo in Archer City. Madi's first she loved seeing all the horses and cows. Her favorite Texas words are "yee-haw"!!!! So cute.

Also the water spraying episode was this past week. I came home from work and found the two of them outside spraying each other with the hose. I'm not sure who was having more fun.

1St Haircut!!!!!

On Saturday Madi and I were at the mall so I decided to go ahead and cut her hair!! And yes I asked Roger months ago if he would mind at all. She kept pushing her bangs out of her face and it was driving me crazy. She did an excellent job, she sat perfectly still. And gave the hair dresser a hug and kiss, she kept telling her thank you for cutting my hair. On the way to see her Daddy after words she was singing " I am so Happy, so happy, my hair so pretty!" Rog didn't even notice at first, I had to tell him. When he saw he did kinda give me a hard time, just being playful. He said he had just wanted to be there when we cut it. I had no idea he wanted to be there..... sorry Daddy!

Summer Cleaning

So on Saturday Rog was cleaning the garage with Madi, while I supervised from the sofa. I went to check on them and Madi was in the backyard playing. A few minutes later Rog stuck his head out in the backyard and saw our little princess stripped down to her pull up. Well that was actually half way off, standing in her kiddy pool! It was almost 8 p.m. we've had tons of rain and the mosquitos were out like crazy. Anyway she was extremely proud of herself. I wasn't fast enough getting a camera though, sorry. You'll just have to use your imagination.

Tonight though we did find two of our little friends we've been trying to catch. One in the garage and one in the crawl space. Rog thought it would be funny to show me the first one in the garage, YUCKY!!! Good thing I love him so much, Rog that is.

I went to the Dr. again today had to do the glucose testing today. He said eveything is going good. I measured at 31 weeks. He says from the last sonogram the due date would be around the 20th of August but he didn't want to change it from the 26th since it's the same week. So we'll just see as we get closer to that time. I think it's pretty cool to see now when he kicks my whole belly jumps around and moves. It's the neatest thing.

Summer Fun

So we bought a kids pool the other day, the girls absolutely love it and so do I. It's big enough for me to put my feet in. Madi is lost when the other kids aren't here for her to play with though. I can't wait for her bubba to be here and big enough for her to play with. I am 6 1/2 months along now not too much longer.

Memorial Day

So on Memorial day this is how Rog and I were awakened by our lil princess. She called this her make-up. Yes it's a black sharpie and she was so proud of herself. I never would have thought I would have to tell my daughter to sit still and let me finish washing the black off of her. Hilarious!!!! We got most of it off in the tub but she did have to wear some off also. Four days later and you can't even tell it happened. We did however move our junk drawer stuff so she can't help herself to it anymore.
