Updates

We have officially moved back in to our home.We are so excited and happy to be back. We painted the kids rooms. Madison's room is purple and Bubba's room is blue. We finally have a routine down and things are running smoothly again.

Daddy- is still in the academy and things are going well for him. Graduation is set for February the eleventh, we invite everyone to come we'll let you know more details as it gets closer. He is still on track with his weight loss goal, I think he only has five more pounds to go.

Mommy- My finals are this week and I'm ready for those to be over with. I have decided to take the next semester off, things are just a little to hectic with our schedules. I barely have time to think much less study. So to the back burner school goes and I will work some to help out with our financial obligations. We have been watching our niece and nephew for awhile so two extra kids to drive me crazy.

Daughter- Had her birthday party yesterday, she was pretty cute. I will upload some pictures as soon as I can. She is going to school two days a week for three hours a day, she loves her teachers and is getting along great with the other children. I can safely say she will do fine this next year in public school. She is acting more mature every day, hard to believe sometimes that she is only four.

Bubba- Is getting so big, he is not my little baby anymore. He is saying new words almost daily, and has turned into a real Daddy's boy. he asks for Dad from the time he wakes up until he goes to sleep again. He plays really hard and tries his best to keep up with Sister. He surprises me in his strength already and his stubbornness.

Roger and I have agreed to have one more little munchkin so hopefully we'll have another baby sometime this next year, we shall see.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Daddy and Maka Birthday.... Ice Cream Cake... Yummy!

Friend of mine took some pictures of us

Catching Up

So Roger has been telling me for awhile now that I need to update the blog. Madison is now enrolled in a preschool starts in September, only for two days a week for 3 hours a day. She is so excited to be going, today she reminded me that I am not allowed to stay with her. That of course made me want to cry, when did she get so big?

Little Roger will be turning one this next week. He is walking non stop and of course into absolutely everything. We got his skin tag on his ear removed about a week ago it is healing wonderfully. He has a little bit of a scar but I think with time it will pretty much go away completely.

Roger (Daddy) starts his new job on the 30Th. He has started running again so hopefully he won't be too exhausted that first week. He already has his uniform and yes I have talked him into trying it on for me. I will get up early with him that first day and get the full effect. I think he is waiting for that morning to shave off the facial hair, will be weird to see him without it.

As for me, school starts back this coming week I am taking 9 hours. One class on campus and two Internet, I'm looking forward to finishing already. I kinda wish we could fast forward to the end , slowly but surely we will get there. I am still working periodically, it's really fun and a great break from the kids.

Trip to Utah

So we went to Salt Lake City to visit family. Grammie graduated from college, the kids got to meet there Great Grandma for the first time, plus got to play with there cousins and aunts and uncles. Needless to say we had a great time and can't wait to go back again.
Plus My mom got to go with us her first time to go to Utah. She went and did all the toursty stuff, temple square, deseret, seagull, conference center, and I'm sure I'm probably leaving some things out but I know she had a great time.

Dance Recital

Madi did such an amazing job. She wasn't scared or anything up there I am so proud of her! I took tons of pictures before and after she was posing like crazy. I love my girl!

!!!!Madi's First Kiss !!!!

So my visiting teachers came over and this is her son Ben. Madi and Ben play together pretty regularly, they love to play together. Then dressed each other up like this and we couldn't help but capture the moment for future black mail purposes. They were being so dang cute! On the way home Ben tells his mother that his favorite part about the day was kissing Madi. Needless to say we both had to have talks with the kids. I told Madi she could pretend to be Mommy and Daddy but no kissing at all and now dating until she is 16. Only then can we talk about kissing. She says he kissed her on the cheek , but with her you never know.

April 2010

So I realize it's been quite sometime since we have updated this blog, sorry.

Roger, this is his first week with out a full time day job. I think he might be going a little crazy with us. His business will hopefully be ready to open the first week of May, he is so stinkin excited and we are excited with him and for him. We still don't know when the academy will start but were hoping for sometime this summer.

Alyssa, finishing up my first semester back in college. I feel like an old lady in there with all those teenagers, but I know it'll be worth it in the long run. I am still working part time but will soon slow down a little more there, life is just to hectic for us right now.

We did decide not to have any more children of our own, maybe we'll adopt later on.

Madison, is enjoying her dance class she has a recital coming up in May. Her outfit is so adorable! She is also going to a music class put on at church, she enjoys all the singing and playing with other kiddos. She thinks she is big enough to pick up her brother now, so we have to watch her very closely.

Roger, has four teeth now and is approximately twenty pounds. He is crawling and it is so funny to watch his technique, he has some kinks to work out. He is wearing 12 month clothes already and is about to outgrow those. He has said: DADA several times now.... Madi is my only witness though. He seems to wait until no one else is around but me, one day Daddy will hear him.

As a family over all we are doing great nothing to complain about, except our allergies.... not so nice over here with that stuff right now. I will post Easter pictures soon.

So haven't updated in a while. Roger has a conditional hire for the local Police dept. he is so excited and were so happy for him. Bubba has his two top teeth coming in and has been waking me up before 6am the past few days. It's just not right to be up that early. Madison has started taking a ballet class, she is so cute in there. She actually got into trouble tonight at class for not listening to the teacher, but now hopefully she will understand and do as she is told. She will also have a recital at the end of May, were so looking forward to that. I am still in school and this semester is going by pretty fast but so far so good. I just feel like the old lady half the time, but I guess that's what I get for waiting so long to go back to College.

His first attempt at real food, well as real as you can get for the babies. He ate a whole jar of carrots and probably could have eaten some more. He absolutly loved them and hates rice cereal.

Madison was very eager to help her brother, he was watching her almost the whole time. She was an excellent helper she talked to him the entire time and was encouraging him, so cute.

Happy New Year!

So the kids are growing so fast. Little Roger is 3 months old now and Madison will be 3 on the 6th, time seems like it is flying by. She is turning into such a big girl, potty training is going great and she is using her manners with almost no help from us now. It's funny to me some times to see just how much she actually does listen to us and understands. The baby is so sweet always smiling and laughing now he totally makes my day.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Police Exam

So Roger is taking the exam this morning he called about half hour ago he passed the written part with an A. He is on his way to the physical exam and we should find out some time today he says they are looking for 15 people. I am so excited for him.

I started a job this past week at The Children's Place, so far I have only worked one day and only work one day this next week. Hopefully I will get more hours soon though
ex specially with Thanksgiving weekend coming up. I enjoyed working there the first day so it can only get better from there, plus the discount is awesome. I love there clothes for the kiddos.

Madison is potty training still she is doing better and better every day, I am so proud of her. She keeps asking us if it's her birthday yet. When we ask what she wants for her birthday she actually gives us a list now, it's kinda funny. " I want a horse, clothes, barbies, and the Dora doll that dances on her toes!" If only she knew where money came from and could understand that she is not getting all of this.

Little Roger is getting so big so fast. He is smiling all the time, he can laugh now it's adorable and he is trying to roll over already. I was thinking that next month he'll be 4 months old at Christmas he gets to eat real food, okay so rice cereal. I can't wait to see the faces he will make.

The other day when I was feeding the baby Madi asked if she could play with my Bobos
( boobies)I told her NO but you can play with your own. "But mine don't have any milk, mom" I still can't believe that came out of her mouth. She is so stinkin smart. She wants to go to school this next year too... I don't know if I am ready for that or not.

Madison is almost 3 and Little Roger is 6 weeks. They did great getting there pictures made, okay so the boy cried the whole time but hey it all worked out.

This is his 2 week picture. At his doctor appt. he was 8lb. 8 oz. so gained exactly one pound and just under 1 inch. This boy is growing so fast, he is smiling like crazy and has started to make cooing sounds.

Catching up

So my loving husband brought to my attention that I have not updated the blog in a few weeks and I need to get busy. Needless to say the past 3 weeks have been a little hectic for me. Adjusting to a new little one in the house plus the fact that we are moving this week, I feel like we have no time for anything.

Little Roger is doing great his cord finally fell off today, it looks like he will have an outie. I was so excited to dress him for church today he wore his first little church outfit with a vest, super cute. Last Sunday we had him blessed, it was a awesome day.

Grammy and Papa were here last week we had a great visit with them, only wish they could have been here longer. Madison keeps asking where her Grammy and Papa are and when do we get to go on an airplane? She really didn't enjoy having to sleep in her room again when they left, she thinks we are evil!

Madison has been doing some really cute and funny things lately.

Heather & Nate came to visit last week also we went out and ate at Texas Roadhouse. Long story short Madi came up missing, we were all going crazy looking for her. She is no where to be found. Our worst nightmare, when all of a sudden we look over to the bar area and there she is but naked diaper in her hands skirt down around her ankles! She said 'Daddy I just had to go potty." Needless to say we were freaking out I thought she was with Roger he thought she was with me. Good thing he works there and everyone knows who she is, right. This could have been so horrible.... potty training at it's finest though. She didn't tell either of us anything she just took herself to the bathroom like she would do here at home.

Today was also the first day she took the sacrament. She reached in and grabbed the bread before we could stop her. So we started explaining in as much detail as we could the importance of the sacrament and what it means. I'm not sure if she fully understands what it all really means but at least we tried to tell her.

We still haven't gotten the pictures uploaded on the computer but I promise we have been taking some great ones.

So, Yeah we have a BOY!

Well, im sorry that I didnt update this blof after the birth, I was a little busy. Alyssa's sister Jessica was updating Facebook just after. Well, we are home now it was fun and real and we are glad its over. So here are some pics that we have taken of the boy. Madison is calling him "bubba" but she cant pronounce it quite right so she says "Buboo", almost like bobo the clown but with the "bub" part at the beginning, its really quite. Anyway for those on our emailing list you will get more pics than these soon. I hope everybody is doing good and enjoys the pics, if you dont get pics (give it a day or two) then call, email, or comment in the blog section and we will make it happen. Enjoy!

Getting Closer!!!!!

OK the nurse checked alyssa and she said she is a 9.75/10. The baby is at "Zero Station" and we are getting ready to have this baby. I found it wierd to think that I will have two kids soon. Honestly im already getting emotional....im a big baby, i know. Anyway, other nurses are on in the room getting the room ready.....so pretty quick. The main nurse said she would check alyssa in a about 15 minutes or so. More to follow.......

Getting Closer

The Nurse just checked her and said she was dialated to a 5-6 and the baby was -1. She needs to be dialated to a 10 and the baby at 3. So we will see. Its progressed really fast, predictions are that she will have the baby by 3 PM Central......more later.
